About Lunor

Founded in 1991 by Gernot Lindner, a master optician from Stuttgart and collector of antique eyewear whose collecting directly shaped Lunor's historic-revival design language. The name derives from the French "lunettes d'or" (gold glasses). Known for rimless and gold frames built with a distinctive riveted hinge, machined from a solid metal block rather than assembled from stamped parts, produced in Germany's Black Forest region.
