About Mykita
Founded in Berlin in 2003 by Moritz Krueger, Daniel Haffmans, Philipp Haffmans, and Harald Gottschling — the name comes from a Berlin daycare center called "Kita" near their original studio. Early frames were cut and hand-assembled from stainless steel sheet in small batches in-house, a deliberate break from outsourcing to contract manufacturers common among competitors.
