About Rapp
Founded by Toronto optician Mel Rapp — the eyewear line and in-house fabrication launched in 2001, building on the family's optical retail business since 1983. A family operation: Mel's wife Julia curates the collection's color palettes, and son Shilo, a trained goldsmith, leads design and manufacturing. Frames pair satin-finish acetate fronts with contrasting raw titanium temples, machined and assembled in-house in Toronto in limited-edition runs.
