About Rigards
Founded in 2012 by Ti Kwa (Malaysian-born, Fashion Institute of Technology) and Jean-Marc Virard (French), both longtime collectors of handmade vintage eyewear before launching their own line from a Hong Kong atelier. Frames are built from natural materials only — buffalo horn (sourced from animals that died of natural causes), copper, solid wood, and aluminum-magnesium alloy — deliberately avoiding acetate or synthetic plastics.
