About Robert Marc
Robert Marc opened his first optical boutique on Manhattan's Columbus Avenue in 1981, at a time when eyewear was treated as a medical necessity rather than fashion — helping pioneer the designer-eyewear boutique retail model in New York. After designing for houses including Fendi and Calvin Klein, he launched his own eponymous eyewear collection in 1999.
